Actually... He's right handed but tells others he's left handed.

Dubbed the God of Humour and sometimes Shishou (Master/Teacher) by his bandmates, Nobuto has the ability to brighten up a day. He likes to crack jokes and come up with weird antics. Nobuto uses funny names like nobububu, nobibi, be, babito, nobibu in his blog posts. Surprisingly, this childish guy has one of the deepest, manly voice in UVERworld. Sadly, he can't sing. The other poor UVERworld members always have to tolerate him whenever he bathes because he has a habit to sing. Here is a poll that fellow UVERfans has rated about his singing abilities (or rather lack of). Despite his looks, Nobuto is really a very emotional guy. He cried after reading the lyrics of Hitori Jya Nai Kara, and he seemed very scared of Katsuya when he's angry. He's also easily upset, and when he gets mad, Katsuya will get mad. Takuya and Akira often had to calm them down.

Nobuto (信人) literally meant Trusted Person. His parents named him this in hope that he will turn out to be a trustworthy person. I believe this is very true, as he and Takuya (who hates betrayers) can still remained friends all these years.

Nobuto is a natural bassist, and doesn't look awkward playing it. His movements during PVs and lives were commented to be one of the smoothest. He was also given quite abit of limelight in the 7th Single, Endscape, due to the bass solo parts. Topped with Takuya's whistling, this pair is a force to be reckoned with.

Nobuto had changed since UVERworld's debut. From looking like a punk, he has grown more and more handsome (and slimmer). Still his big nose remains. In fact, Akira drew a picture of him in UVERtv 3, exaggerating his nose. More pictures of him can be found at the gallery.

Nobuto came up with the name Shaka Beach for the 8th Single, which was meant to be Shake a Beach or Shark a Beach. Also, he likes reading Shonen Jump, perhaps that's where he got all his humour from.
