Friendship/Brotherhood

Takuya and Nobuto have known each other since 3 and 2 years old respectively, they used to lived in Shiga, Kansai with the rest of the UVERworld members. In fact, they had been in the same class until grade 4, and have always been in the same school till junior high. They are so close that they can be consider brothers, and are very straight-forward with each other. Takuya and Nobuto's older siblings were also friends and both were inspired by them to enter the music industry. Apparently Takuya's sister was a singer, while Nobuto's brother plays the bass too, seems like it runs in the blood.

The not-so-little Facts

In an interview found in Arena 37c June 2007, Takuya mentioned about the recent thing that had made him smile was talking to Nobuto.

Nobuto mentioned in CLASSWORD that if he could become another UVERmember for a day, he wants to become Takuya because he wants to sing.

Again in CLASSWORD, Nobuto told Takuya,"Let's be idiots forever together".

Both have the habit of sometimes not wearing anything when at home.

It was mentioned on Ontama that Takuya and Nobuto share a weird relationship.

Nobuto cried when he read the lyrics Hitori Jya Nai Kara written by Takuya.

From R&R Newsmaker Febuary 2007,Takuya commented that Nobuto is super clumsy, he's bad at hula hoop, while Nobuto commented that Takuya has things that he don't have; both good and bad.

If you watch the Bugright documentary carefully, at around 5:31, you can see Takuya secretly taking a photo of Nobuto using his handphone.

Also from the Bugright Documentary, the part where Nobuto was screaming singing (9:04), you can see the amused look on Takuya (Shintarou just had a "..." look on his face).

Lovers?

Well, as much as some TakuNobu fans hope, it's quite confirmed that they are just the very best of friends. Takuya and Nobuto mentioned that they had crushes on girls before. In fact, Nobuto said that he wanted to be popular among girls. Of course, the future is uncertain and they may just turn out to be gay, elope with each other and live happily ever after. Of course, avid UVERfans will start throwing rotten tomatoes at me if this ever happens.

Well, I just hoped at the very least, Takuya and Nobuto's friendship/brotherhood will be everlasting.

Their Fandom

From here on, it will all be opinions/guesses of their fandom, meaning it's not 100% true. However, most of them are backed by evidences.

There had been a bit of discussion on the UVERfamily (what if UVERworld is one big family...?) found in UVERtalk. I just like to mention 2 of them.

Reference: Nobuto commented in CLASSWORD to Katsuya: "continue to be kind to others, especially me."So Eve and I derived from that comment that Katsu mama is 'not so kind' with Nobuto cause (s)he wants to test him out to make sure he's devoted to Takuya.

Here is another inference. In the Pati Pati Sept 2006, Takuya said the type of person he likes is someone who is unique and Nobuto said someone who can tell another person's feeling but not their own. Though this is quite a far stretch, but Takuya and Nobuto quite fit into each other's criteria. Takuya being the lyricist write songs to encourage not only his fans, but the band too (so he sort of can tell another person's feeling and hence writes a song for said person or something), while Nobuto is quite the joker, maybe even witty and out of the box (somewhat original/unique).

Mentioned earlier that Takuya sometimes styles Nobuto's hair during live performance, so Takuya may accidentally touch here and there. Here is a proof.
